From being a Cincinnati Cares partner (500+) to seeking SEI certification, your volunteer-engaging nonprofit is working to improve the volunteer experience.

Partners at the “SEI Certified” level have committed to becoming certified as a Service Enterprise. A Service Enterprise is an organization that fundamentally leverages volunteers and their skills across all levels of the organization to successfully deliver on its mission. As the only Points of Light Foundation-certified Service Enterprise Initiative trainer in Ohio, Cincinnati Cares works with nonprofits on improving the extent to which they engage volunteers.

Partners at the Engaged level are leveraging our board matching, board training and other services for their organization as well as maintaining their information on the Cincinnati Cares platform just as they did as a Guide partner (see Guide Partner benefits). Engaged partners are United Way agency partners, or are members of the Leadership Council or participate in OneSource trainings.
