With a background in communications, marketing and business operations, Jenna brings her interest in systems thinking and design to Inspiring Service’s endeavors to understand and support nonprofit organizations, the engagement of volunteers, and the ecosystem as a whole.
After earning a B.S. in Visual Communications from Ohio University, Jenna dedicated a year of her time to environmental restoration efforts in Massachusetts as a member of the AmeriCorps Cape Cod program in support of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals that are most personally meaningful to her (#13 Climate Action, #14 Life Below Water, and #15 Life on Land). She then joined the marketing team at Swarovski’s North American headquarters in Rhode Island, where she eventually transitioned into marketing operations.
After developing an interest in systems thinking and design in relation to organizational effectiveness, Jenna earned a M.S. in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania. During this time, she worked in strategic planning for the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine.
With a desire to both move back to her hometown, and focus more of her time on social impact, Jenna returned to Cincinnati and joined the Inspiring Service team in spring of 2017.
