Local philanthropist Craig Young awarded the 2020 Jefferson Award

Los Angeles native and local software entrepreneur Craig Young has been called a millennial in a baby boomer’s body.

His passion for philanthropy, volunteerism and creating innovative solutions to empower generations and regional organizations helped him earn the 2020 Jefferson Award for Public Service in Greater Cincinnati on Thursday.

The Jefferson Award is presented annually by the Rotary Club of Cincinnati and the American Institute of Public Service. Young will go to Washington, D.C. in June to represent the region for the national award.

Young, the founder, and director of Inspiring Service which locally operates as Cincinnati Cares said he’s proud to represent Cincinnati and can’t wait to continue setting a path for others.
