On behalf of Cincinnati Cares’ founder Craig Young, I want to thank all of our donors, Cincinnati Magazine and Procter & Gamble for helping us to achieve the milestone of being named the grand prize winner of the 2019 Cincinnati Gives Challenge,” said Doug Bolton, President and CEO of Cincinnati Cares, the Greater Cincinnati region’s volunteer hub.
“But our win really is a win for all of the participants in the challenge, from Hopes Closet to the Cincinnati Rotary Club Foundation to 4 Paws and Ziegler Park. All of the money we raised will go toward improving access to volunteer opportunities at each of these winners as well as the nearly 100 other participants in the Cincinnati Gives Challenge.
Our work builds the capacity of all nonprofits in our region who engage volunteers — from mission delivery to skills-based projects to board service. As a result of our win, there are hundreds of thousands of winners, from the nonprofits themselves to their thousands of volunteers in our region.
